A historic and highly collectible coin from the early reign of King George I, this 1869 Greek 2 Lepta Small BB variety is an important piece of 19th-century Greek numismatic history. Struck in copper and minted at the Strasbourg Mint in France, the coin features the young portrait of King George I on the obverse and the denomination within a wreath on the reverse.
The Small BB mintmark variety is especially sought after by Greek collectors because of its recognized die variety and lower availability compared to standard examples. The “BB” mintmark refers to the Strasbourg Mint, while the smaller punch style adds collectible interest among variety specialists.

- Gold and silver coins are excluded from the right of withdrawal, as their price depends on the precious-metals market (Greek consumer law 2251/1994, art. 3ιβ).
- Bullion photos are indicative. Small marks or milk spots on bullion coins come from minting and are not defects.
