The 2002 Golden Jubilee ½ Sovereign is a special commemorative issue celebrating Queen Elizabeth II’s 50th anniversary of accession. Struck by the Royal Mint in 22ct (0.9167) gold, this coin features the historic Royal Shield of Arms reverse designed by Timothy Noad, making it a distinctive departure from the traditional St George and the Dragon design.

This example is PCGS graded MS69, an exceptionally high grade and effectively a top-grade example. The coin contains approximately 3.66 g of pure gold (0.1177 oz).
