The European Cultural Heritage Days are dedicated to monuments and their conservation, as well as raising public awareness of national and common European cultural heritage. They were established in 1991 at the initiative of the Council of Europe and are supported by the Commission of the European Union and the Council of Europe. The Roi Baudouin Foundation in Brussels has the international coordination secretariat. Every year, on the last weekend of September, various events, with a theme that changes every two years, are held in many parts of Europe in or around the monuments, under the general slogan “Europe, a common heritage”.
Τhe Numismatic Museum has been participating in the events of the European Cultural Heritage Days since 2001 by issuing and offering each year a special medal.

How we ship
- Dispatched after payment. We prepare your order as soon as your payment is confirmed and email you when it ships.
- Bank transfer must be completed within 3 days; orders ship once the amount has cleared.
- Discreet packaging. Every order is sent in a plain parcel or padded envelope.
- Insured shipping. Shipments are insured with the carrier up to the value of your purchase. Once the parcel is handed to the courier and a tracking number is issued, any claim for loss or damage in transit is handled with the carrier.
- Customs. Prices are in euro and include VAT where applicable. For deliveries outside the EU, any customs duties or import fees are paid by the buyer.
Returns
- 14 days to cancel or return your order, provided the items are in their original condition.
- Proof and specially finished coins must be returned with the capsule unopened and the coin untouched.
- A proven defective item can be returned in its original packaging within 10 days for a replacement or refund.
- Gold and silver coins are excluded from the right of withdrawal, as their price depends on the precious-metals market (Greek consumer law 2251/1994, art. 3ιβ).
- Bullion photos are indicative. Small marks or milk spots on bullion coins come from minting and are not defects.
