The Crete 1901 5 Drachmai Silver Coin is one of the most desirable coins of the Cretan State (1898–1913), issued during the autonomous administration under Prince George of Greece and Denmark. Struck in .900 fine silver, this impressive crown-sized coin features Prince George’s portrait on the obverse and the Cretan coat of arms on the reverse.
This example has been professionally authenticated and graded XF40 by PCGS (Professional Coin Grading Service), guaranteeing its authenticity and preserving its collector value. Certified Cretan silver coins are highly sought after due to their historical importance, limited survival in higher grades, and strong demand among Greek and international collectors.

- Gold and silver coins are excluded from the right of withdrawal, as their price depends on the precious-metals market (Greek consumer law 2251/1994, art. 3ιβ).
- Bullion photos are indicative. Small marks or milk spots on bullion coins come from minting and are not defects.
