Our unique silver niobium technology has again enabled us to produce a unique coin. The 25 euro coinβs shining surface provides the perfect background for mint designers Helmut Andexlinger and Thomas Pesendorfer to explore robotics.
Symbolising the fusion between electronics and mechanics, fundamental in robotics, the intricate illustrations on the obverse of this cutting-edge piece feature mechanical cogs and digital binary coding. In its centre a robotic version of Leonardo da Vinciβs Vetruvian man typifies ideal human proportions in the place of a human being, set against the mars-red background of the niobium core. This colour is a reference to the coinβs reverse, which shows a mountainous Martian landscape with a European Space Agency robot exploring the red planet as a star-filled sky and planet Earth shine down from the coinβs silver edge.
Issued with a maximum mintage of 65,000 pieces in Special Uncirculated quality only, Robotik contains 9 grammes of 900 Fine silver in its outer ring and 6.5 grammes of 998 pure niobium. Each coin is encapsulated, boxed and comes complete with a numbered certificate guaranteeing its authenticity.

How we ship
- Dispatched after payment. We prepare your order as soon as your payment is confirmed and email you when it ships.
- Bank transfer must be completed within 3 days; orders ship once the amount has cleared.
- Discreet packaging. Every order is sent in a plain parcel or padded envelope.
- Insured shipping. Shipments are insured with the carrier up to the value of your purchase. Once the parcel is handed to the courier and a tracking number is issued, any claim for loss or damage in transit is handled with the carrier.
- Customs. Prices are in euro and include VAT where applicable. For deliveries outside the EU, any customs duties or import fees are paid by the buyer.
Returns
- 14 days to cancel or return your order, provided the items are in their original condition.
- Proof and specially finished coins must be returned with the capsule unopened and the coin untouched.
- A proven defective item can be returned in its original packaging within 10 days for a replacement or refund.
- Gold and silver coins are excluded from the right of withdrawal, as their price depends on the precious-metals market (Greek consumer law 2251/1994, art. 3ΞΉΞ²).
- Bullion photos are indicative. Small marks or milk spots on bullion coins come from minting and are not defects.
